Software Solutions Lead Architect — Enterprise Information Management (EIM)

OpenText EIM and BPM expertise. Lead enterprise solution architecture, pre-sales engagement, and regional technical delivery. Own architecture, governance, and delivery assurance across Intelligent Capture, Extended ECM, Content Suite, Process Automation, AppWorks, Magellan, and the SIMS platform for customers across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design for enterprise EIM, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable (AP) Automation, and digital transformation programmes.
• Act as technical authority for OpenText solutions, owning architecture, solution governance, and delivery assurance.
• Engage senior customer stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable enterprise solutions.
• Partner with OpenText Account Executives, partners, and executive leadership on technical pre-sales support and solution strategy.
• Produce high-level architecture, technical designs, proof-of-concepts (POCs), architecture roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
• Establish and govern enterprise architecture standards for quality, scalability, security, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership across the SDLC — architecture reviews, design governance, implementation support, and technical assurance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of consultants, developers, and technical specialists across multiple engagements.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews for compliance with enterprise principles and quality standards.
• Bring expertise in Information Governance, ECM, GDPR compliance, Intelligent Document Processing, and Business Process Automation.
• Design and integrate enterprise applications via REST/SOAP APIs, cloud technologies, and modern integration frameworks.
• Support customer production environments for solution stability, performance optimisation, and First Time Through (FTT) delivery.
• Coordinate architecture workshops, project meetings, and technical governance reviews internally and with customers.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, OpenText, and strategic partners to support regional growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional projects and enhancements.
• Mentor consultants and support recruitment and capability growth for the UK & Europe practice.
• Progressively take on regional revenue, customer success, and commercial performance ownership, with a path to owning the regional business and P&L.

Minimum Skills / Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics; a Master's degree in IT is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in OpenText technologies: Extended ECM, Content Suite, Intelligent Capture, Process Automation, AppWorks, Magellan, and related EIM solutions.
• Solid grounding in ECM, BPM, Intelligent Automation, and Information Governance.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, SQL Server, PL/SQL, XML, XPath, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies.
• Exposure to OpenText Process Suite or similar BPM platforms (Pega, TIBCO, Oracle Fusion, jBPM, Savvion) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; commercial acumen; attention to detail; willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.
